Hello everyone,

I wanted to add spell power to an original weapon or just a "custom weapons" copy another weapon in database and change entry.

But how do i add spell power? i read the wiki and nothing about it? tried 45 but didnt work?

Any clues?

Do i have to add it as a spell? if so? which spell?

Tested this locally and it worked. You are probably confusing the stat_type columns up.

stat_type1, 2, 3 etc =  should be the type of stat you want on the item
stat_value = refers to the stat_type

Like, the value of stat_type2 is set by stat_value2
and the value of stat_type3 is set by stat_value 3

etc

Arh yeah, indeed i did.

So

# = 1                           (number of all the stat)
stat_type# = 45          (for spell power)
stat_value# =  999     (the amount of spell power?

That's correct smile

Deleted my cache...

Well, i tried 46 45 44 43 42 41 40 and all just gives me mana....

Where can i find the list over the correct ones?

I am attempting to find an answer to your question, stat type 45 is spell power according to the list of stats but it doesnt seem to work. I will see if i can find an item that has spell power and see what stat type it has.

It seems that it does not exist, also, type 38 (attack power) does not exist.

Sorry, good luck

I found something that might be of help,

https://www.burning-crusade.com/database/?spell=35844

I looked at item Id 29093 in the DB and it has spell https://www.burning-crusade.com/database/?spell=18053

I think that might be it, it does mean that manually modding spell damage requires editing spells which is a bit more complicated then just modding a stat.
